Wonderful Sat morning

Dear Lord,

Thanks for sending wonderful friend like her into my life, i had a great time with her this morning. Love the sandwiches, love the tablecloth, love the rose milk tea, love the drizzling rain, love that corner of W.Warmers, and I want to remember this moment of time. Thanks for wonderful photos through her camera, dear God.

I bet You're smilling from above too. :)

Lord in reign .. rain

Dear God,

I miss u today.

You waters the earth with pouring rain this morning. I think i don't really like that much of water at the same time, my jeans get all wet. But i'm thankful that You're still in reign even in the rain today.

I'm looking forward for the holy communion next week, it just reminds me of how great You are.

Wedding

I love weddings. It's a great event to celebrate the gift of love from God to bless this newly wed couple. I can't imagine myself walking down the aisle yet, but i always love to see the moment when the bride walks down the aisle to her bride and the moment where they say their vows.

Some time ago, I asked my friend, who'll be the groom for his wedding very soon.

I asked "I wonder would you cry, the moment you see her walking down the aisle and also when you say your vows to her? and i wonder will she cries when she say her vows."

"I don't know, some ppl cry when they say their vows", He said

"I hope you will cry for her too, hahaha... For me, most probably i'll cry la next time, i cannot tahan. "

"hahaha... I hope i won't. If she cry, i see her cry, then i might cry also, kao giak..." He said again.

"Maybe I'll cry even louder when i walk down the aisle, if the man i'm marrying is not handsome at all... hahahahaha" I said.

Nah... the last part is just a joke. I always expect the bride to cry when her man is reading his vow, coz that's so touching! But i hardly find man that will have tears running down their cheeks when their bride is walking towards them, down the aisle. I saw this in Bishop Jake's blog, he wrote about his daughter's wedding and how he walked her down the aisle hand in hand. See below. or click this

".....Well, when I walked her down the aisle and felt her trembling hand in mine, I looked up and there was her groom looking deeply into her eyes with tears unashamedly running down his cheeks and the same look of total enchantment that I have had since her mother birthed her! It was then that I almost lost it. I thought, “We do have something in common, we both love her and that is a good place to start!” So we were two wet-eyed dudes at the wedding, sniffing and snotty nosed....."

His son in law was in tears as he saw his bride walking down the aisle. I cannot imagine that, it must be a great joyful moment. Thus, i asked my friend, whether he'll cry on his wedding day, i hope he will!

IF i were that guy, i would definitely think of this song 'beautiful as you' the moment i see her walking down the aisle, it says "I've been waiting a life time for you, for you. And I've dreamed about you. Pictured in my mind who I would see. But I never imagined just how beautiful you'd be..."

Wow! such a breathe taking moment.

It also reminds me of the second coming of Christ, the church as the bride of Christ will be united with Christ the bridegroom. There will be the wedding ceremony to take place in heaven to celebrate the eternal union of Christ and His bride.

Who is the bride of Christ?

As believers in Jesus Christ, we are the bride of Christ that will wait with great anticipation for the day to come where we'll be united with Him.

Christ has given Himself sacrificially on the cross to pay the price and chosen His church (us) to be His bride. In Ephesians 5:25 - 27 it says "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. "

Now, we have been redeemed at a cost of His blood, and made holy, and also be filled with the holy spirit. Just as there was a betrothal period in biblical times during which the bride and groom were separated until the wedding, so it the bride of Christ separate from her Bridegroom during the church age. Our responsibility as His bride during the betrothal period is to be faithful and submissive to Him. Ephesians 5:24 - Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. And also to love Him with all our heart Deuteronomy 6:5 "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might."

And as the day comes at the second coming of Christ... we will rejoice and celebrate the wedding of Christ and His church. Revelation 19: 7 - 9 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.) Then the angel said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!' " And he added, "These are the true words of God."

.... i still wonder, will Christ have tears in His eyes when He see His bride walking towards Him.... and how will we react... when we meet Him face to face in heaven one day? I wonder.... but i cannot imagine still... how it will be.

Made me beautiful

Aunt Mary & my cousin sis came down to Pg andwe had seafood dinner at Oriental seafood shop on Sun night.As i was quietly waiting for my aunt to order the food,mum pulled me aside and pointed out to the aquariums beside the stall

She said:"Look! lobsters...! and mantis prawns... beautiful right? You see... I've never knw that mantis prawns can move so beautifully in the water and look at the body of lobsters... the designs are so unique and beautifullook... look.. come take a look!"

I look at her and i said"I've seen it before, and I find it geli (irritating), with all the legs.. it's scary"

She said"U knw what, they're just as beautiful as how God has designed and created them uniquely. It's amazing to know that God created them, even in every small little details. The wonders of nature shows you how mighty and amazing God is."I smiled.

The whole dinner,I was wondering why would God just spent so much time and effort to design orcreate something beautiful in His eyes when He knew that the creaturewould have be eaten by human beings in just less than half an hour,and took only less than 5 mins to admire the beauty of it's shell? Why would He created beautiful flowers that will wilt in just days? I soon realized, that all the effort and time thatHe put in every creation, is out of love.It was simple to understand His heart by putting it in layman's term. I once put alot of love n effort to bake cookies for someone else, it was solely made out of love, even when i was stirring the batter, u can find me smilling all the way until the cookies are out frm the oven. I knew that the cookie could be 'dissapearing'in someone's stomach in less than 5 minsit's logically a 'waste' to spend so much time for just 5 mins. But it was purely an expression of loveIt was out of love, God made all His creation beautifulan expression of love that takes time and effort,even though i thought it was worthless to do that for just alobster(awaiting to be eaten) to look so detailed and beautiful.


Today i wake up and the first thing i said
"God, I thank you, for making me beautiful in your eyes".

It just reminded me that the low self esteem of me should just fade away slowly day by day through the love of God that made me beautiful.

Arise, my darling!

Thurs night, as i was doing my devotion, i decided to read out loud chapter 2 of song of Songs to my dear Lord Jesus. As i was reading the passage aloud, it became so difficult to finish reading verse 10 untill 13. I was so convinced that God spoke to me through these three verses. He said:"Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me."

10 My lover spoke and said to me, "Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me. 11 See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. 12 Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. 13 The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me."

It was the most beautiful word that the Lord has spoken to me, He calls me His darling, His beautiful one. Such a great affection that He'd shown me and He's drawn me to Him with His loving kindness.

In Jeremiah 31.3 says: "...I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness"

"The winter is past; the rains are over and gone". He assured me, that the cold and gloomy session in my life has past, and over. So leave it behind, and move forward. As the flowers appear on the earth, trees bears its early fruit, and vines blossoming.... telling me that spring is coming... the season of spring in my life has began. "Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me"He says. Again, He assured me with His love, to follow Him and He will walk with me, together I'll spend the new season of my life with Him.

It reminds me an old chinese hymn written on song of songs...

“主啊，你吸引我，我就快跑随你，

我心深深与主密契。

虽然南风吹来，虽然北风兴起，

却溢出我园中香气。我主全然美丽，

我主满我心意。

主，你属我，我也属你，

众水不能熄灭，大水不能淹没，

"Dear Lord you draw me,

That's my prayer for Him, and yes i will draw close to you Lord, because He first loved me.
